Going back to 2012, the First Crafter’s Expo took place. Since then, nothing’s been the same. From a journey which began with the notion to bring together makers and creatives — an entire revolution on handmade and promotion of handicrafts in Pakistan has since ensued. Today, countless communities, cities, organizations, and even local government bodies have transitioned toward the sustainability and preservation of crafts — in addition to highlighting the urban craft scene.
How absolutely fortunate we are to be at a place where color, creativity and community — collectively thrive and chime Happiness is Handmade! Proudly so, in Pakistan.

As part of our social responsibility initiative at Smile Sunshine under Firefly, we are supporting our friends in villages and towns currently impacted by the disastrous floods.

On ground aid is being supported in the following areas:
Mirpurkhaas (in coordination with the Khushi Family), Sanghar, Khairpur. Bhitshah (where our fellow artisans are most impacted), Mehrabpur (Nawabshah), Kamber, Larkana, Jacobabad and to areas of Balochistan in coordination with officials on ground for flood relief and disaster management.
